Meet The Face Behind Artistic Imagery Productions
I’m Shannon Scott, proud owner of Artistic Imagery Productions.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I always had a passion for videography, starting with an Audio Visual class in high school. I began working on a number of projects for friends and family when a friend inquired if I’ve ever considered pursuing video production as a career. Just then, a little light came on, and Artistic Imagery finally came to be.
Fast forward to today, and we’re celebrating our twenty-fifth anniversary this year! I’m still as passionate about my work as the day I started. It never feels like work and never gets boring because I’m always doing something different. Making a concept on paper turn into reality with each project drives me each time, and it feels like the last twenty-five years have just flown by! I can still remember when we hit our first million dollars in sales. Every time I think about it, it fills me with such pride.
In the span of this vast career, I have witnessed many production companies come and go. I am proud AIP has been able to stand the test of time. I’ve been a keen observer, and a partaker in the way technology has advanced. The biggest transformation in the industry I feel is the shift from analog video and linear editing to digital video and nonlinear editing. It could be compared to how we went from using typewriters to a word processor on the computer.
As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my integrity, professionalism, and reliability. Regardless of the big changes we’ve had in our industry, we have always maintained our principles in continuing to provide a high-quality product with outstanding customer service at a fair price. I believe we have been able to retain our customers and be successful by staying true to this philosophy.
When I am not at work, I enjoy doing outdoorsy activities. Hunting, fishing, and camping are some of my favorite things to do. I also enjoy motorcycling and snowmobiling. However, more than anything, I first and foremost love spending time with loved ones and our many dogs.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
